Roy Jones // Broker & OwnerRoy is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is a CPA. He has a background in financial planning. His specialty is financial strategy and construction lending. Roy is very involved in community affairs and was the Chairman of the Board of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce in 2005. He currently serves on the the Georgetown Economic Development Advisory Board for the City of Georgetown. Roy is a deacon at First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Barbara Jones // Broker & AdministratorBarbara is the compliance officer of Home Source Mortgage and manages the company. While she handles the day to day affairs of running the company, she still assists a loyal group of clients and their friends and families with their mortgage needs. Barbara is involved in the Chamber of Commerce as a volunteer and contributes her time to many causes. Misty Brotzman // Operations Manager & Processing SupervisorMisty is responsible for the closing of loans on time. She is invaluable in producing a satisfied client because of her attention to details. She is also a loan officer, and is a delegated underwriter for one of our best lenders. Misty is the mother of three great children, Katlyn, Mackenzie and Thomas. Her kids have academic awards and are involved in Pop-Warner football (Thomas), and cheerleading (Katlyn and Mackenzie). Janet Decker // Client Care CoordinatorNever met a person she didn’t like, or didn’t like her. Janet is our Ambassador of good will! If you don’t like her yet, its because you don’t know her yet! She and her husband Mike, are hosts to a terrific Sunday School class at First Baptisit Church in Georgetown. Whatever you do, don’t ask her about her son, Nick, at Texas A&M. Whoop! There’s no telling how much crazier she’ll get when her younger son Ben goes off to college (surely not A&M)! Jay Howard // Loan OfficerJay is almost ‘Old Georgetown’. He’s been here about 31 years last time we counted. Jay is the best at providing world class service to his clients. His testimonials make the rest of us jealous! To know Jay is to love him. He is a devoted Christian, and still he finds some time to ride his Harley through the Hill Country (rumor is that he is a member of ‘Wild Hogs’) with his wife Brenda on a Sunday afternoon. Rachel Atwood // Loan OfficerRachel has a marketing degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. After she and her husband Blake financed their first home through HSM, the mortgage business started to interest her. In 2006 Rachel decided to join our team after spending several years working for a Fortune 500 company. She is a long time resident of Georgetown, a graduate of GHS, and you may know her by her maiden name of Rachel Marshall. She and Blake are members of First Baptist Church Georgetown. Tracey Day // Loan OfficerIn 2006 we enticed Tracey to join us from Dell ! Since then, Tracey has proven to be a very successful loan officer. Tracey graduated from UT a few years back and has developed a successful clientele while at SW Publishers and Dell. He knows so many people we think we saw him recently on CNN shaking hands with the Pope! Tracey has easily adapted his technical expertise from computer knowledge to mortgage knowledge in record time! He and his family attend First Baptist Church Georgetown. Vince Keane // Loan OfficerCoach Keane can be seen in his jet black convertible mustang streaking between coaching for girls intramural basketball games and client consultations at our offices or even client offices and homes. Vince has a wealth of experience in the mortgage business and is extremely talented at structuring loans to fit unique client situations. He has lived in Georgetown for 11 years and attends Celebration Church between Georgetown and Round Rock. Telisha is the first smiling face you will see as you walk through the doors of Home Source! She wears multiple hats including assisting Roy, Jay and Tracey with their clients’ loans and communicating with their clients throughout the loan process. Telisha brings 10 years of experience in the loan industry and has her Real Estate License to boot! Her number one priority is her family: husband Allen, daughter Shelby (15) and sons, Cullen (7) and Jason (4). Spending time with her active family is her favorite past time! Buddy is a native Texan, but grew up in southwest Louisiana and attended McNeese State . He spent 30 years in the financial services arena and 4 years in the home building business. Buddy has lived in the deep south, Midwest and Western states. He and Marcia, his wife, have four children that are grown, one grandchild, and another on the way. Buddy is a Lutheran by faith. Mike Decker // Loan Officer
After spending 15 years in the “High Tech” industry, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge in business and technology to Home Source Mortgage. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) ®, he is trained in the discipline of organizing and managing process, which includes the smooth process of your next loan. Mike is a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie graduating class of ’88, he has an additional degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, and his academic adventures also include post-graduate studies at The University of Oklahoma. He was a commissioned Air Force Officer and is proud of his service and country. Additionally, Mike is quite active at First Baptist Church Georgetown, where he serves as an adult bible study teacher and a deacon. Mike is teamed with his lovely and gregarious wife Janet, and both are committed to making your mortgage loan experience not only enjoyable, but memorable (in a very good way!). Crystal Estrada // Loan Officer
Crystal is a Texas transplant originally from Wisconsin. She’s not native, but she got here as fast as she could - now she’s a true Texas girl! She lived in the Austin area, off and on, since 1974, and has been in the Georgetown area since 1986. She spent 10 years working with the Texas Highway Patrol at Northwest Austin until she caught the real estate bug. (She still wholeheartedly supports her “red patch” buddies at DPS!) She originally took all the courses to get her realtor’s license, but decided she preferred the finance side. Crystal is married to a truly crazy man: Ken is a firefighter with the Austin Fire Department. Ken is also an appraiser trainee in the central Texas area. They have two beautiful children, Beau and Bella, as well as Ken’s two grown daughters, Vanessa and Tamara. The family is finished off with two dogs, a 70+ lb Labrador and a 5lb Chihuahua. Crystal is very close with her extended family and circle of friends. When not with her kids, she likes to travel, cook, entertain, play in the garden, or work on home projects (that last one makes Ken nervous!). They attend Shoreline Christian Center in Austin. Dale Watson // Loan Officer
Dale retired to Sun City Texas in September of 2000 after 35 years in the mechanical engineering field. Dale and his wife, Jan, decided to move to Texas where he set up an LLC company to design, test, manufacture, and market his patented invention, the “Tornado Safe Bed.” Everything went well except the marketing, and he closed up shop in June 2005. In the past two years, Dale has authored and published a book, obtained his Loan Officer license, and is very involved with the Senior Adult Program at Crestview Baptist Church. Rachael Haynes // Loan Officer
Rachael has a finance degree from Virginia Tech and spent many years in the mortgage industry both with a mortgage banker and with Freddie Mac. After a decade of running her own home based business, she decided to rejoin the mortgage world as one of our loan officers. She’s active in the Hutto community on the youth football and cheer board, coaches a cheer squad, and is on the Hutto Elementary PTC board. She and her family attend Grace Episcopal in Georgetown where she teaches Sunday school.
